Computation of Viscosity of Alcohols Using Variable Zagreb Index

ثبت نشده
چکیده

This chapter deals with computation of viscosity of 35 alcohols at 20C with the computational tools Multi-linear Regression (MLR) and Associative Neural Network(ASNN) . The four descriptors are used which are variable Zagreb index, Number of Hydroxyl Groups(NOH), Molecular Weight (MW) and Number of Carbon atoms (Nc). MLR is used to optimize the parameter(λ) in the variable Zagreb index by minimizing Standard error of estimate(SE) and maximizing correlation co-efficient(R 2 ). The final model is developed with four descriptors. For comparative study, the four descriptors involved in MLR analysis is applied to ASNN. Comparison of result reveals that ASNN computes very well compared with MLR.

On the first variable Zagreb index

‎The first variable Zagreb index of graph $G$ is defined as‎ ‎begin{eqnarray*}‎ ‎M_{1,lambda}(G)=sum_{vin V(G)}d(v)^{2lambda}‎, ‎end{eqnarray*}‎ ‎where $lambda$ is a real number and $d(v)$ is the degree of‎ ‎vertex $v$‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎some upper and lower bounds for the distribution function and expected value of this index in random increasing trees (rec...

Computation on Zagreb Polynomial of Some Families of Dendrimers

In mathematical chemistry, a particular attention is given to degree-based graph invariant. The Zagrebpolynomial is one of the degree based polynomials considered in chemical graph theory. A dendrimer isan artificially manufactured or synthesized molecule built up from branched units called monomers. Inthis note, the first, second and third Zagreb poly...

A note on hyper-Zagreb index of graph operations

In this paper, the Hyper - Zagreb index of the Cartesian product, composition and corona product of graphs are computed. These corrects some errors in G. H. Shirdel et al.[11].

Stirling Numbers and Generalized Zagreb Indices

We show how generalized Zagreb indices $M_1^k(G)$ can be computed by using a simple graph polynomial and Stirling numbers of the second kind. In that way we explain and clarify the meaning of a triangle of numbers used to establish the same result in an earlier reference.

Study of structural effects of binary mixtures of Nitrobenzene and 2-Alcohols

Densities, structural effects and viscosities of binary nonelectrolyte systems including nitrobenzene + 2-propanol, 2-butanol and 2-pentanol at temperatures (293.15 to 323.15) K and normal atmospheric pressure were measured using an Anton-Paar SVM 3000 stabinger viscometer. Excess molar volumes  and viscosity deviations Δη were calculated and correlated by the Redlich-Kister equation to estimat...
